Leaning back into REAPER, but before I do...

It's been many years since I used Reaper, as I moved to a different DAW at the time which gave me immediately what I longed for: uncluttered GUI and simpler VST connection. So I found myself going to Mixcraft, and I still enjoy the workflow very much except now at version 9 - I can't deal with the "dark" GUI. Or the lack of 3D features, which seems to make navigation visually much faster for me. So I'm still using v8, yet now I need certain functions that Reaper offers out of the box but that are lacking in Mixcraft. So I've been looking through the themes but so far only encountered one that has a simpler GUI (Fusion_SwissEdition), and liked one I saw I think from White Tie. So my question is: I'm looking for something similar to this, especially with a minimal number of essential functions in the left hand side. I can't seem to be able to load a proper image, so forgive the link. I thought veteran users may have seen something similar and could direct me there? Thanks in advance, Andre

Have you tried v6? You can pretty easily customize the theme via the Theme Adjuster, especially if you're primarily interested in simplifying the "left hand side." I seriously recommend starting there and if there's anything that's really bothersome, one of us can likely help you change it.

Try ClearView and Smooth 6, I think they are the most uncluttered and easy on the eyes. Also My Taste
